The weight of failure threatens to shatter Nirel, but the constant whispers from the goddess pressure her to continue her mission. She’s trapped inside the broken timeline, and a jealous Corvin holds her captive. Even worse, she accidentally bound her life force to him, but her heart still belongs to Jase.
Stuck in the past and unable to travel through time, Jase and the others are arrested and questioned by the king’s men, which threatens everything.
They must unite to free Laeviin, but how is that possible when they can’t jump through time?
