This is the known world. Sailing is never mentioned in Nirel because ships only bring cargo up and down the coast. If there are more continents, no one knows they exist.

Each province was once its own kingdom, but all were united with the valiant efforts of Saint Stella, Founder of Laeviin. The continent has known relative peace and abundant trade for nearly 400 years. Until now.

Laeviin & Province Crests

The Kingdom of Laeviin and each province has its own crest and color. Some crests are based on old magic once wielded by its people, like Kerulen (fire magic) and Damai (air magic), while others are based on large wildlife like Trestaine (panthers) and Lisaire (bears).

Provincial colors are very important in everyday life, with most people wearing their colors daily. Nirel lives in Trestaine, so she wears green apron dresses, as do all the other women in her village.
