Meet Lina Ravenhill

Tell us a little about your books.

I write fantasy adventure and romance. My books are mostly about witches, magic, shifters, and vampires. I love to connect the world of fantasy and fairytale with realism.

What themes do you include in your stories?

I love to explore the unthinkable circumstances that push people to show their true colors and expose their strengths and weaknesses. I love to write about strong and independent females that don’t need any saving.

Who should read your book? (What are your readers like?)

I think my readers are very young at heart. They are artistic and probably dreamers.

Sarah's note: I think it's really important for people to understand that Lina writes YA. There isn't graphic sex in the Aforetime series and there's fade to black in Heart of Onyx Flame. The stories are so romantic and don't need explicit content. The YA genre isn't supposed to be spicy. That doesn't mean there will never be a spicy story by Lina, but if it's YA and Lina wrote it, then it's safe for the intended age group.

A Heart of Ruby Flame is coming soon!

Are any characters based on real people? If so, who?

There are some characters that are loosely based on people I knew or know in real life, but more often I combine many features into one character. All of my female main characters are versions of yours truly, just on different days.

Sarah's response: Oh, I love that. All your FMCs are tough ladies!

What inspired you to write your books?

It was the beginning of 2022 when the strong urge to create something that I could call my own

pushed me to find a creative venue and I never looked back.

What is one thing you’d like readers to know about you?

I love unconventional stories and I love to surprise my readers. Every story I write is unique and unlike the others.

When you aren’t writing, what do you do?

I enjoy the outdoors, music, art, and reading, of course. I read multiple genres, and prefer audiobooks.

Sarah's response: AND you just released your first audiobook as an author. I loved working on Aforetime and I hope folks enjoy your novel as audio now!
